ZVV - Zürcher Verkehrsverbund
- Lead of the working group “Passenger information on the vehicle and at the stop”, which developed the concept for uniform passenger information in the ZVV. Many passenger information concepts for other transport companies/associations were derived from this concept, including those of SBB and VöV (FIScommun).
- Control system: outline concept, specifications, design of the tender, evaluation of bids, as well as technical advice and support during the introduction of the new public transport operations control system (itcs) with passenger information at stops and in vehicles throughout the canton of Zurich.
- Radio system: design, radio load calculations, and evaluation (comparison of GSM, Tetrapol, Tetra, and analog radio) of the radio system for the entire association area (16 radio sites and 5 radio relay repeaters).
- Design and support for the integration of the national ticket sales system (S-POS) with the control system.
- Support in the commissioning of the new itcs, the interface to the railway, and connection security.
- Coordination and monitoring of the acceptance work, including the functionalities and the radio system.
- Support for the project management and specialists throughout the implementation and operational launch.
